Along the Cote D'Azur

Imma let you in on a secret. I've worn this exact outfit twice in three days *insert your own sounds of shocked horror*. However, I hold my hands up in defeat. I may have brought several what-i-think-are-fashionable outfits with me but when you're walking around all day, comfort trumps all.

Parisian Casual

My uniform for casual comfort is:
a) black jeans
b) trainers
c) white t-shirt
d) mild attempts at accessorising
Spent the day wandering along the Champs Elysees in my trainers and jeans. Living in London it is more arduous seeing my friends in Cornwall than getting to Paris and yet the trip is seldom made. Having said that, this is my upteenth time here in Paris. However something has changed since my last visit as a 14 year old. Now, I have discovered my burning desire to join the clan of Parisian, beret-wearing, crepe-eating, chic, charming French girls. To assuage this hunger I have made my wallet unhappy by running wild in French vintage boutiques *slap on the wrist considering I am a student with little to no money*
Despite all the beautiful French pieces I bought during my trip (haul coming soon), the macaroons from L'Aduree were the highlight of the trip. Yes, I am aware, I really need to do something to suppress this inner foodie.

This jacket was made for summer. And since the English weather is borderline pathetic most of the year, I had to pounce on the opportunity to wear it here in Korea. You would think it is difficult to style but it's quite the opposite as it would look great colour blocked with any of the colours on the jacket.

Simple Stripes

I am slapping myself on the wrist with a scornful look upon my face for my appalling lack of posts these past few months. I would offer the usual sheepish explanation that I have been thoroughly preoccupied avec mes éxamens etc but I will spare you the boredom. Incidentally, I am on my summer holidays thus, have plenty of time to devote to my lovely readers. Currently I am in Korea, with my mum and this is what I wore on my second day here.

Zurich Day Two

Today I donned my usual winged liner, stained lips and black jeans/leather jacket combo. Spent the final day of my weekend trip just wandering around the city with my family. Don't let the pictures fool you, the weather looks beaut but it was freezing. Ballet flats and no socks was a major error.

Zurich-Day One

Arrived in Zurich early this morning to basicaly London weather. Nevertheless, spent the whole day just wandering around the city, sitting in (ridiculously expensive) cafes drinking coffee eating macaroons. Pure Bliss.

Classic...

Found this gorgeous leather/cropped/trench jacket at Armani Exchange last week at a half price slash. It is genuinely the most supple and amazing quality leather and I can't resist a sigh of pleasure every time I ease it on. Yesterday I went for my classic go-to look for school with black skinny jeans and brown Isabel Marant lookalikes (which I hunted the high street for).

Crochet

Since the sun finally decided to make an appearance this morning, I decided to wrench out this crochet dress that I've been dying to wear for ages. I've been caged up in 'conservative' wear for my summer internship all week so I decided to go a bit wild today and pair the crochet with these amazeballs silver boots, a studded leather jacket with a leopard print lining and about  a bajillion rings- not my usual get-up but I felt like a bird set free and wanted to seize the oppurtunity.

See Sheer

The Maxi Dress is an unusual thing for me. If not shown in my previous OOTD, my style is very much polished and put together- I generally don't tend to go for the casual/boho/hippy etc look. However I make one exception for the Maxi.

Maxis in London really are a rare occasion for me as the incessit rain and cold weather tends to stunt my summer appetite. Howver, although not really reflected in the pictures, the weather was super nice today and as Londoners often do-I seized the chance to wear my new dress (which btw is the msot comfortable thing I have worn in ages)
Now, you really can't tell by the pictures but this maxi dress is super sheer thus, to protect my modesty I wore a long white tank under it that covers the boobage and bum area well enough.
